Majestic skies are not something we get to witness everyday nor all day. The disappearance of the sun and the way the rays of lights come through the skies are always fascinating.
My first thought is angels calling, or in this case the reflection of the light off of the suns crown. I also think it's calming and satisfying to see the grey clouds reflect the golden light. Better yet, absorb it and saturate it.
Another interesting observation is how the side of the hill in the picture is completely dark. Even though it was still bright.
Great photo and great observances of the light and how it affects your emotions. I love the silhouette of the hill.
