I am also following Jeevika's foot steps with my little bedroom decorations. I am a huge fan of the $12 LED light strip from amazon. In today's world everyone keeps meme-ing MOODs which sometimes gets on my last nerve. Yet, I know I get in an inspired mood when I am at the end of my day after experiencing a long day of sensing, traveling, observing, learning and working. It inspires me to walk into my room and choose the light that helps sooth my mood after the day I experienced. Not to mention the color reflecting off of my tapestry that also allows me to think of costuming due to the light reflection off of the colors of fabric. If you cannot tell, this shade of Purple is my most calming. Sometimes, I wonder if its because I relate it to lavender.
Also, a fun fact, my roommate while I am working on my bachelor degree is from India. When he saw my tapestry hanging for the first time. He introduced me to Ganesha, a Hindu God of beginnings, which was an absolutely mind blowing story that was inspiring itself. I always admired elephants for their life span and characteristics as animals.

Beautiful tapestry and great use of it for this post. I have a very similar LED strip in my office at home and the colors can change how I feel at any given time so much. Nice connection to Purple - we should talk about it - in color theory it is the color of "other" as it is not found in nature as much as others - it adds so much to compositions, as I have been showing a little in class
